Why I Would Like to be a MT
You know I have been engrosed in work from home jobs for around 8 years now. The life change that prompted this was the birth of my first child. When I had him originally I didn’t have to work. Then as everyone knows expenses of having a child grow as they grow. I had to get a job outside of the home when all I really wanted to do was enjoy my child. Also when you have to work outside of the home you end up with even more expenses such as a second vehicle, extra gas, and daycare. Well I grew accustomed to the fact that i would always have to work to support my family especially after I had our second child. Both of my children have had medical conditions and I have had to spend time away from them to work during those times. I feel that maybe getting some medical training will help me learn how to deal with some of the issues that have arose with my children.
When my son was 2 he had tonsillitis so often that he had to have his tonsils removed. I have never experienced anything close to the emotion I felt when he was put under except for his birth. Needless to say he has been fine since except for the occasional sickness children get. Then when he was 1 month from turning 5 we had our 2nd child. Amber also had medical issues with her ears. For the first year of her life she had ear infections off and on. When she was one, they finally chose to put tubes in her ears. I was unaware at the time that she could barely hear. She is 3 now and still has the tubes in her ears but she can hear and her speech is just blossoming. My children are my life and when they hurt I hurt. I want to be there for them more than I am currently able to be. I want to spend days with them without stresses of a tiring day far from home. I also would like to make more money to give them everything I didn’t have. SN:1SE0V2ESY
When I was growing up I was in a family of 5 that lived on $15,000 a year. I learned at 14 how to get a job, work, and buy the things I needed to survive as they weren’t getting handed to me. I would like to be an online medical transcriptionist to be able to have the flexibility to work from home but also make a competitive salary. I also like the benefits it would provide my family. We could do so much more with our children and have more family time without the stresses of an outside job. I really believe I would be good at this career as I am a very hard worker, fast learner, and a very fast typist. I love working on computers and with people. I currently work in a customer service center which has a lot of customer interaction and computer use. I am very knowledgeable with computers and computer programs. I just feel that it is the time in my life where I really need to strive for the things that I want out of life for myself and my family.
